I am delighted to offer single session classes. Each class is approximately two hours in length and can be held in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Instead of enrolling in my traditional 4-week class series, you may “mix-and-match” from the following classes to best meet your individual needs.
- Active Birth
- Labor Support & Coping Techniques
- The Birth Process
- Breath Awareness & Relaxation (I do not teach patterned breathing techniques, but there are a number of useful breath awareness and relaxation skills to learn and practice)
- Birth Planning/Navigating the Hospital
- Q & A Session About Pregnancy, Labor, & Birth
- Birth Art
- Prenatal Yoga
- Pelvic Bodywork
- Healthy Pregnancy (this class is designed for people who wish to take a class early in pregnancy)
- Homebirth Preparation
- Developing Trust in Birth–Working with Fear
- Baby Care/Baby Care Decisions & Breastfeeding
Each single class is $45. Any two are $85, any three $120.
My most popular class combination is Active Birth & Labor Support. Many couples choose to take these two as a two week “series” of classes. Other couples choose these two plus either the Birth Process or Birth Planning class.

Hi Molly,
I’m working on my ALACE CBE Cert (on Mod 5) and am also a “volunteer bf counselor” (since 2001). I am going to sit for the IBCLC exam this July. I just wanted to drop in and say I really like your individual class idea and will probably “steal” that. I am hoping to put together an array of classes myself. My site is http://www.safepassagebirth.org.
Do you have a prenatal yoga certification? How do you do that class? I have been a practitioner of yoga for a few years, but am not sure I want to pursue certification. I do, however, want to offer classes as part of my schedule. Do you use Jeannine Parvati Baker’s book (sp?) as a guide? Just curious.
I am also thinking of offering the “How to Talk…” classes in the near future (no cert required, lol).
Anyway, just wanted to say hey–your site is so similar to what I’m trying to do that I wanted to just touch base and brainstorm with you if that’s ok.
Best,
Gina
